Our take
What we thought, standing there.
Beauty devices sit awkwardly between cosmetics and electronics, and most factories are good at one side only. This one is an electronics shop that learned beauty, which we think is the right way round — the SMT line and the ageing test racks were the real thing.
They run a 24-hour burn-in on finished units. We watched a batch come off the rack and get opened for inspection, not just powered on.
Where they are weak is industrial design. Their in-house models look like everyone else's on Alibaba. If you want a device that does not look generic, bring your own ID and budget for tooling — do not expect them to design it for you.
